Your cake pops are adorable, I have tried them only twice, turned out OK,I had a problem the first time with them dropping off the stick,I never know if I should refrigerate the balls FIRST before dipping and for how long, the temp of the dipping choc. there are so many different replies to this. I would appreciate yours.

Do you really use 1/2 cup of oil to a bag of melts?? or is that a typo? that seems like a lot of oil. ,also is 1/2 cup of frosting the right amt. for a 13x9x2 cake that is cut in half? I have never seen a 9″cake mix. A lot of questions I know, sorry, but I would really like to be good at doing them again.
