Hi Coral,

I think you can try it. Be sure to freeze the candy first. I haven’t tried this yet so I can’t guarantee it will work. Good luck!

I don’t have any muffin tins and don’t have time to buy them. Is it possible to make the brownie mix, pour it into a baking dish and add Hershey’s peppermint kisses in the places where I would usually cut brownies? Would that create a big mess? Or can I melt the chips and just add to the brownie mix?

Hi Charles,

I always moderate the first ever comment on my site because I get a lot of spam comments. I have a comment policy and it clearly states this.

Your last comment I will not approve because it was pointless.

Did you make these? Let me know the problem you had…if not, I’m not seeing the point of your comment.

I’m curious if you made it if you’re using a dark nonstick or a light colored nonstick mini muffin pan? I’m wondering if that’s the difference we’re all getting in baking times. I have made these mini brownies with candies many many times and don’t have a problem.

Moderation of comments? That almost certainly results in comments from aggravated individuals who had negative results of following these recipes being never being posted. Shame on you.

The only ones posted seemed to offer marginal complaining. The end result of following this recipe to a T is uncooked brownie batter and a mess that will not “flip over” after being loosened.

I used the same box mix as recommended, froze the pb cups, used mini muffin tins and ended up cooking them for over 15 minutes. They were raw after 8 minutes. I followed directions about removing from pan and had a horrible time getting them out. I had to use a spoon and scoop them out. They tasted good, but looked terrible and were not something that looked presentable enough to share.

I’ve used both the caramel Hershey Kisses and Reese’s cups…delicious! Great find…thank you!
